The Korean Web 20th anniversary conference will be held at convention hall of Sejong Universiry on Friday, 17th, Oct. 2014 in Seoul, Korea(http://www20.kr). In this event, Brendan Eich, Javascipt Inventor and Hakon Wium Lie will visit Korea and talk about the future of Web.
Hakon suggested the first draft of Cascading Style Sheet(CSS) for web designers with Tim Berners Lee in CERN and has been Chief Technical Officer in Opera Software.
Brendan made Javascript for programming in web browser only for 10 days in Netscape and has joined Mozilla project and was Chief Technical Officer in Mozilla Corp.
This year is the Korean Web 20th anniversary and it has been breakthough in online portals, e-commerces, socia, media and community services in whole aspects of Korean society.
In 1994, the first Korean website was relased and WWW Korea, the first community was started, so many early leaders on thw web will be joined in this event together global gurus.
This event is hosted by HTML5 ICT Forum, W3C Korea and Web Standards Korea and supported by Ministory of Future Science and ICT and ETRI.
It will be started from talk of Brendan and Hakon and WWW-KR members in the morning and there are many sessions for web search, web platforms, UI/UX, web designs, web games and backend technologies , web browsers and mobile apps by Korean speaers. You can join 5 min. lighting talk and 10 min. demo session by call for speakers.
